‘Sakh Darpan’ is a simplified, modular, user-friendly, customizable and bi-lingual (in English & Hindi) Management Information System (MIS) for SHGs and Federations. This application allows central tracking of the internal accounts of SHG members, multiple portfolio of members, repayment performance as well as linkage with social security schemes, insurance and livelihood activities.

The application package can integrate three levels of user applications viz. Primary User level Mobile phone/EPOS application allowing financial transactions at field level; Middleware application allowing integration of data transferred from mobile phone/EPOS with Financial Reporting and Accounting application which is the Top Level. The software allows financial management, financial services delivery and monitoring of microfinance and livelihood programmes.

The application has been developed with financial support from Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai under the Sakh –se- Vikas Initiative. A Team consisting of Mr. Sourav Roy, Centre for microfinance, Jaipur; Mr. K.M.Noordeen, SPMU, MPOWER; Mr. K. Sasi Kumar and Mr Vijay Pratap Singh Aditya, Ekgaon Technologies worked under the overall guidance and support of Mr. Tanmay Kumar, Secretary Department of Rural Development, Government of Rajasthan for the successful completion of this website.
